Latest Haul: NARS Luster, NYX Round Lipgloss in Sorbet and NYX Single Eyeshadow in Golden

It’s been quite awhile since I last posted an entry. I’ve been uber busy with my workshop caravan. Anyways, though this may have been long overdue, here is my latest haul:

NARS Luster, NYX Round Lipgloss in Sorbet and NYX Single Eyeshadow in Golden

I got this blush from a swap (thanks to GTalker carousel!) I swapped my NARS Gilda with this because first of all, I feel that matte blushes makes me look dull (or I might just not know how to use it properly). Secondly, Gilda sometimes becomes too orangey on me. It’s a hit or miss on me oftentimes. So I decided to let it go and swapped with Luster.

I am so inlove with NARS Luster. This becomes my instant perk-me-up blush because it just delivers the right flush I need. It has shimmers that give added glow to my oftentimes dull skin. I even use this sometimes with as eyeshadow and works just as well. I can combine it with NARS Southbeach (using southbeach for contour or as base so that my blush will last longer). NARS Luster is also a very nice just-got-out-of-the-beach blush and perfect for the coming Summer season.

I have 2 NYX lipglosses to date. The first one is Kiss (a peachy beige color). The latest addition is Sorbet, a very pale pink lipgloss that has shimmers. I ordered this from digitaltraincase.multiply.com because I was on the lookout for a perfect NARS Turkish Delight dupe. The color in the tube is almost like Turkish Delight but Turkish Delight has more color payoff than Sorbet. I like using this on top of NARS Schiap or Roman Holiday for added effect. But, I cannot use it aloneor else I will look too pale. The only thing I cannot stand with NYX Round Lipgloss is the smell. Very strong citrusy smell.

NYX Golden eyeshadow according to Lelila of Gtalk is a dupe of MAC Amberlights. This is my first NYX e/s and I am sooooooooo glad that I got this one. It is a very nice neutral e/s that can brighten my eyes even if I combine this or not with other e/s. According to Lelila, this is nice when paired with MAC Expensive Pink. Since I do not own MAC Expensive Pink, I tried searching the net for a dupe. There I saw that NYX Wildflower is a dupe of MAC Expensive Pink. Now I am lemming for this color. I hope Lelila’s preorder starts soon. I also want to get the Romance Runway Collection Palette of NYX. NYX e/s are very pigmented and are so easy to blend that’s why I really like it. Plus, it doesn’t sting my eyes, which some e/s does on me.
