Vivo City is the biggest shopping mall in Singapore. It is located in Harbourfront, it was designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito. Its name is derived from the word vivacity. The mall has 139,000 square meters of floor area.
From Bugis, we took the MRT (Green Line) and alighted at Outram Park interchange. From there, we board the Purple Line to Harbourfront station.
Vivo City is also the gateway to Singapore's famous Sentosa. You have the option to either take the Sentosa Bus, Sentosa Express (a monorail train), or the Cable Car!

Vivo City also houses No Signboard Seafood.
My cousin who is based in Singapore ordered Chili Crabs, Coffee Pork Ribs and Crispy Cereal Crayfish.
Sri Lankan crabs cooked in robust chili sauce with prawn paste, garlic and spices. If you have allergies, make sure to take a dose of your anti-histamine because you cannot definitely resist the temptation to grab a bite. To add more fun, dip a mantau into the sumptuous sauce and you might forget you have allergies on seafoods. I now declare, this is my HG Chili Crabs. As I write this, I am lemming for another serving. It's addicting.
Tender pork ribs braised in sweet and tangy coffee infused marinade garnished with sesame seeds.It tastes like barbeque with a hint of coffee. Perfect with their fried rice.
Crispy cereal with juicy succulent crayfish (or prawns). My baby Akisha likes the cereal so much!

nice blog, sis! but i don't think vivo city is larger than mall of asia. malls in singapore are smaller as compared to malls in the philippines because of limited space here. but super dami malls talaga dito! :D

ReplyDeletehi sis! thank you for the heads up. I researched about it and found out that you are right. SM Moa has 407,000 square meters floor area while Vivo City has 139,000 square meters only. =)
